In this guide, we’ll show you how to add your Airbnb (or Vrbo) and QuickBooks (or Xero) accounts to Bnbtally and create a fully integrated connection. Bnbtally supports adding any number of these accounts. You’ll also have the ability to add any accounts of your clients or 3rd parties as they grant you permission. We’ll show you how to do all of this here.

Step 1: Navigate to "Connections" page

To get to the Connections page, click on the "Connections" menu item on the left.

Step 2: Add an Airbnb (or Vrbo) account

First, in order to create an integrated connection, we’ll need to add at least one Airbnb (or Vrbo) account. To begin, click on the “Add Account” button at the top right,

Select to add either an “Airbnb” or "Vrbo" account and enter your username and password. Keep in mind that Bnbtally will never store passwords, only an authorization token provided by Airbnb or Vrbo on your behalf, which you can revoke at any time.

Next, complete any captcha requested if required and any 2-factor authentication if necessary. When you’re forwarded back to the account page in Bnbtally, select to save the account. We have now successfully added an Airbnb account to Bnbtally.

How to use the Authenticator App

How to request someone else to authenticate an account

One thing to note, just in case you’re working with a client or 3rd party and you wish to add their account, you’ll notice that you have the option "Request someone else to authenticate". This will provide you with a link to copy and email to your client or 3rd party so that they can log in on your behalf.

Step 3: Add a QuickBooks (or Xero) account

Now let’s add a QuickBooks or Xero organization. At the top right, select the “Add Account” button again.

This time select to add a “QuickBooks” or "Xero" account and complete the steps to complete the connection. From here you’ll be redirected to the Intuit or Xero login where you can sign into your Intuit or Xero account and then select the company you’d like to connect.

Step 4: Create Connection

Now that we’ve added at least one Airbnb/Vrbo account and one QuickBooks/Xero account, we can then create a connection between the two.

Click on “Create Connection” and select your Airbnb/Vrbo account, then select your QuickBooks/Xero account. Once complete, be sure to select "Save".

DONE!

This concludes our guide to creating fully integrated connections in Bnbtally. Refer back to your checklist for next steps.
